Jessica DiMeo, the lucky winner of the Paranormal Activity Red Carpet Home Screening sweepstakes, received a surprise "visitation" from the film’s stars, Micah Sloat and Katie Featherston as well as director Oren Peli, whom she introduced to her grandfather Joe Cefelli, who introduced DiMeo to horror films as a child, during the world premiere of an unrated version at her home in Rehoboth, Mass, Dec. 28, 2009, to celebrate the film’s DVD and Blu-ray debut on December 29th.
